Organisational Goals:
Within the Charter objectives of the IEE each Branch is expected:
- To acquire, generate and exchange knowledge and ideas of interest to the local members and community;
- To encourage members to remain competent, to maintain a high standard of professional conduct and to play their full part in contributing to society;
- To provide services to members in respect of membership, careers, skill development, mentoring, employment and employers;
- To maintain a network or means of communication between members for the exchange of views and for the appropriate presentation and transmission of these views;
- To raise the standing and visibility of the profession by active links to local higher educational establishments, other local institution branches and relevant local organisations and by promoting membership of the IEE.
